The first volunteers from East North East Homes were out supporting a Smoothie Challenge at Seacroft Primary School.

 Sarah Prideaux and Jean Barnbrook are the first 2 volunteers to take part in a Leeds Ahead programme. Sarah said, "I thoroughly enjoyed the day, and found it interesting, fun and exhausting! The children also found it fun and yet informative, and I think they got a lot out of it with a good foundation to the insight of the business world. It was also a good exercise for me to enhance my facilitating and teamworking skills."

This kickstarts a full schedule of engagement by East North East Homes who have joined Leeds Ahead as part of their staff development programme. Future activities will include a Work of Work day, literacy mentoring and providing interview practice.
