  • Paul Walton and David Reed from 4 Site Security have been back to school - to decorate a corridor at Grimes Dyke Primary School in Seacroft. After taking part in a school assembly, the 2 volunteers set to work painting the walls and woodwork in a much used part of the school. Diana Mann, the headteacher at Grimes Dyke, feels it's important that the pupils take pride and ownership in their surroundings. And by bringing volunteers into the school it shows the pupils that there is real interest in them, as well as being a positive experience for children to have visitors.

Paul & David had a fun, challenging day. When asked what they had got out of the day, the answers were unanimous "A bad back, stiff fingers and sore knees but the great sense of achievement that comes with a job well done. And also the knowledge that we have been able to make a contribution to a school in an area of Leeds that faces a lot of challenges."
