BIRSE Civils, who are currently constructing the Leeds Link Road, have hosted visits to their site from a number of pupils from Carr Manor and Primrose High Schools. This included a comprehensive tour of the site and a presentation on the background to the site, challenges faced and how they have been overcome.   The pupils had the opportunity to ask questions, see a large construction site in operation and see how their skills in the classroom transfer to the workplace.
