The Catalyst Centres are part of the Camberwell project which provides office space and support to new business start-ups. As part of their Leeds Ahead membership they decided to support someone in their local community by offering them a work placement. 

Leeds Ahead contacted BEST, the training provider carrying out JobCentre Plus' New Deal programme, who then established the Catalyst Centre's needs and suggested ideal candidates.

The placement went to Ambia Begun who had previously been unemployed for 8 months. This unique opportunity has helped her get back into the work environment and get used to the discipline of the working day, but most importantly it has helped build up her confidence.
