Steve Phillip runs the very successful Red FM, a service that provides coaching and support for women in business, who want to promote themselves more effectively and achieve improved business outcomes. When Steve became a member of Leeds Ahead, he was very clear that he wanted to give something back. We agreed that one of the best activities for him would be a mentoring match. He has now been mentoring Claire Irving, Director of Shine in Harehills, for the last 5 months, and it has been a very successful partnership with both sides benefitting from the association.  Steve said that 'This is the first time I have worked on a community based programme and working with the Shine project has added a new dimension to my coaching experience. Working with Claire is a real pleasure, and I would highly recommend Leeds Ahead for any entrepreneur and business owner, who is genuinely interested in giving something back to the local community and in the process raise the profile of their own business.'
