On the 6^th May 2009, 200 people arrived at the new Leeds Met Rose Bowl building to attend the Leeds Ahead Reinvention and Regeneration annual conference. The evening started with a vibrant session of business networking and socialising, after which people were ushered into the main auditorium for the main event. Presentations and short films highlighted the fantastic achievements of Leeds Ahead and its member businesses in supporting the Vision for Leeds over the last two years, which have seen over 12,000 people benefiting from support. Gerald Ratner delivered a good humoured and inspirational presentation about the importance of reinvention.
