During the week commencing 19 March, volunteers from Baker Harding Recruitment, Baldwins and the Royal Bank of Scotland supported the Wythers Environment Week, co-ordinated by Groundwork on behalf of Leeds West Homes.
The Wythers, an estate on the borders of Bramley and Armley, was transformed as helpers supported a week of action to clear up the area. Leeds Ahead volunteers helped with the regeneration of a greenspace area, painted metal fences and cleared litter.
Paul Monaghan of Groundwork said "The support from the volunteers was excellent. Together, they have made a real positive impact and improved the area."
