Make the Grade

Make the Grade marks a new approach to building long-term partnerships between businesses from different sectors and schools. Financially supported by the private sector for an initial period of three years, Make the Grade activities are tailored to schools' particular needs and are structured and scheduled into the curriculum throughout the year. Planning, facilitation and monitoring of the programme are all supported by our team, which also recruits the business resources and sponsors to partner with your school.
Activities typically delivered include interview skills, careers events, workplace visits and work placements which help young people to prepare themselves for work and make informed choices about the future and further study options. A variety of different mentoring programmes and live business and enterprise challenges similarly serve to increase aspirations and nurture entrepreneurial drive and commercial awareness in pupils from a young age.
